Project stakeholder meeting

On 30 June, 2017, within the framework of the project “Energy efficiency by the development of electromobility in Poland”, a stakeholder meeting was held at the National Centre for Emissions Management (KOBiZE) located in Warsaw, 132/134 Chmielna St.

The stakeholder meeting was organized by the Department of Environmental Technology Verification (BV) of the Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute, in the framework of the Project Task 6. The main topic of the discussion was the possibility of implementing the identified incentives and good practices in Polish realities. The meeting was attended by 32 persons.

The content of the meeting

Step 1 – Presentations

  • A short speech to welcome the invited stakeholders and presentation of the Project – Mr. Bartosz Malowaniec (the Project manager, Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute).
  • Description of the methods of evaluation of electromobility development, information on the modeling of emissions associated with the development of electromobility in Poland – Ms. Joanna Strużewska (specialist, Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute/Warsaw University of Technology).
  • The results of the analysis of electromobility implementation methods in the UK – Mr. Marcin Syrzycki (specialist, Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute).
  • The results of the analysis of electromobility implementation methods in the Netherlands – Mr. Dominik Brodacki (expert, Ignacy Łukasiewicz Energy Policy Institute).
  • The results of the analysis of electromobility implementation methods in Germany – Ms. Anna Kucharska (expert, Ignacy Łukasiewicz Institute of Energy Policy).
  • The results of the analysis of electromobility implementation methods, based on the projects carried out in the European Union – Mr. Paweł Wowkonowicz (specialist, Institute of Environmental Protection – National Research Institute).

Step 2 – Technical discussion

The stakeholder debate tackled three topics:

1. Direct incentives/subsidies and their validation in terms of electromobility development in Poland.
2. Indirect incentives and other aspects of electromobility (space communication, car sharing, etc.).
3. Electric buses in public transport.

At the end of the discussion, a plan for further activities related to the implementation of the Project Task 6 was presented.
